About the artist
Hi, I'm Sally
I paint from a little studio in my house or out in my garden, working mostly in acrylic and watercolour.
I paint canvases, watering cans, glass and much more. Every piece is one of a kind, hand painted and with a lot of love. Below is a bit about how I got here.
My story
After the loss of my husband, I found myself in the deep, quiet waters of grief. Searching for a lifeline, I turned to a timeless part of my heritage: painting.
My father was a gifted artist, and though I never painted while he was alive, I now feel his loving guidance and energy flowing through every movement of my brush.
This is my heart's journey, transforming sorrow into beauty, one painting at a time.
I use art not just to create, but to heal, process, and reconnect.
Who I paint and teach for
You don't need to be an artist to start
My classes are for anyone who wants to learn to paint. Some people come for the craft. Some come because a quiet table, a brush and a slice of cake is what they need that day.
If you're dealing with grief yourself, you're welcome to follow along with what I share here. Painting helps me, and it may help you too.
